How do I get an account?
There are several ways to get an account you can use in this site.
- Create one through registering. Click Register, then enter your child’s USO username
and your mobile phone number. This MUST be the same number the school has recorded
for you. You will then receive a PIN code by text to your phone. Enter the PIN into
the space provided, then follow the prompts to create an account. Once your account
is created it will be linked with your child’s account so you see the correct information
inside the site. When the process has been completed you will receive a confirmation
of your account details by text message.
- You have previously applied for school places online through eAdmissions. A USO
account would have been created for you at that time which is valid here. You still
need to complete part of the registration process in order to associate your account
with your child’s account. When you reach the stage where you are asked for account
details, simply enter the same details you used in eAdmissions.
- You are employed by the school and already have a USO account. You will still need
to complete part of the registration process to associate your account with your
child’s account. When you reach the stage where you are asked for account details,
simply enter your usual USO credentials that you use to access email, for example.
When I try to register for a USO account I end up with an error message and the
account doesn't get created. What can I do?
It is possible that your child's USO username is being entered incorrectly. Please
check the spelling of the username and that it is followed by .xxx (a three-digit
numerical code). A child's username should never end in .uso
It is also possible that the mobile number you are entering is different from the
one held by the school. You will need to contact the child's school and update your
number. If the number is already correct it is up to the school to investigate what
is causing the problem.
I have forgotten my username and password. How can I find out what it is?
If you forget your password, you will need to reset it yourself. The school will
not be able to reset it for you.
To retrieve your username and/or password you must click "Register" and go through
a part of the registration process.
You will need to enter the USO username of a child already linked to your account
and your mobile number. You will then need to confirm your identity by selecting
your name in the next section.
You will then receive a PIN by text. Enter this PIN into the box provided and you
will be shown your username and given a chance to create a new password.
I have registered but am having problems logging into the site.
Please ensure your registration has been successful and you have reached the final
step in the process where your account details are reconfirmed to you on the web
Please ensure you are entering both your username and password correctly as the
fields are case-sensitive.
If you still experience a problem when trying to log in please contact the school
and describe the problem in as much detail as possible (eg: what happened, what
error message you saw, etc.)
